    Igel Ball

    Igel Ball is usually employed via a wet/dry or trickle filter. A wet/dry or trickle filter is a system in which water is allowed to pass over the Igek Ball where beneficial bacteria grows and interacts with toxix ammonia to produce less harmfuk nitrate. This "Trickle effect" increase dissolved oxygen levels in the pond of aquarium and cleans or filters water as the igel balls combined with organic waste to dissolve it. Igel ball is also used in hatcheries, tropical fish farms. Waste water treatment and other commercial and industrial fish farm systems.
