Pall rings 15 mm for sidebars, moonshine stills, rectification columns, distillers (1 kg)
Description
Pall rings are a ceramic nozzle that is used for drawers, moonshine stills, rectification columns, distillers for the production of:
- whiskey;
- vodka;
- alcohol;
- gin;
- tequila;
- tinctures, etc.
In the process of distillation, heat and mass transfer processes take place on its surface between reflux flowing down the tsar and alcohol vapors rising up from the still. Due to this, the contact area increases, as a result of which the maximum concentration of alcohol in the minimum amount of equipment is achieved. Observing the technology of distillation and using a drawer with ceramic Pall rings, it is possible to obtain alcohol with a strength of 96.6% vol.
The advantages of Pall rings over other attachments are:
- increased contact area;
- less resistance.
An important advantage of ceramic rings is their wear resistance. They do not react with the components of raw alcohol / mash, and therefore, with proper care, such a nozzle will serve you for many years. In addition, cleaning such a nozzle is very simple - you can use ordinary dish detergents or a weak solution of citric acid. At the same time, given the resistance of ceramics to acids, citric acid does not destroy the rings themselves, removing impurities.
One package (1 kg) is enough for about 70 cm of Ø 48mm pipe. The filler does not react with the product and does not leave a smell or taste. The ceramics are completely neutral and highly resistant to acids and alkalis. Before filling the column, the product should be boiled in water with citric acid.
This type of packing is irregular. This means that the nozzle is not laid in layers, but in bulk, which is easy to do on your own.
