Metal Mist Eliminator is a device that is welded to a gas separator to increase the efficiency of separating output droplets in the steam stream. It can be made of aluminum, galvanized steel and stainless steel. When the desulfurized fuel gas passes through the metal vapor separator at a certain speed, the fuel gas changes rapidly under the influence of the operating mode. Due to inertia and centrifugal force, the droplets collide with the separator blade, collect and form a stream of water. And finally, when the drops turn into big drops , they fall. The most common design of a mist eliminator is vertical air flow, but a drop collector can also be installed for horizontal air flow. The design choice depends on the pressure loss indicator, the cleaning capability, and the risk of excessive resistance.
