Description

The Pall Rings Packing is a new type of filler suitable for carbon dioxide degassing towers, ozone contact reaction towers, etc. as contact fillers and other reaction towers. So what is the main difference between the Pall ring packing and the Raschig ring packing? The Pall ring packing is improved for some major shortcomings of the Raschig ring packing. It is an eight-layer rectangular small window on the wall of the ordinary Raschig ring. The small window blades are placed at the center of the ring, and the upper and lower layers are positioned. The Pall ring packing material is made of polypropylene. The main difference between the Pall ring and the Raschig ring packing is that there are rectangular window holes on the side walls, and the window leaves of the window holes are bent into the center of the ring. The distribution of gas and liquid is better than that of the Raschig ring due to the opening of the ring wall. Large improvement is that the internal surface area of the ring can be fully utilized. The Pall ring packing has the advantages of large flux, low resistance, high separation efficiency and large operational flexibility. Under the same pressure reduction, the treatment volume can be more than 50% larger than the Lacy ring. At the same throughput, the pressure drop can be reduced by half and the mass transfer efficiency can be increased by about 20%. Compared with the Raschig ring, the Pall ring packing has the characteristics of large production capacity, strong resistance and large operation flexibility. Under normal circumstances, the treatment can be 50%-100% larger than the Raschig ring. The Raschig ring is 50%-70% smaller, and the tower height is also reduced in pressure. Plastic Pall ring packing is especially suitable for low-temperature (60-150 degree) stripping, absorption and washing towers in petroleum, chemical, alkali, gas, carbon dioxide degassing tower, ozone contact reflection tower and other reaction towers.
