Metal Mist Eliminator

It is a device mounted on a gas separator vessel for enhancing the removal of entrained droplets in the vapor stream. Made of aluminum, galvanized steel and stainless steel. When the desulfurized flue gas passes through the metal mist eliminator at a certain speed, the flue gas will quickly change the mode of operation. Due to the inertia and centrifugal force driving, the droplets collide with the blades and collect to form a water flow. Finally, when the droplet forms a larger droplet, it will fall. The most common process design for mist eliminators is vertical airflow, but demisters can also be installed in horizontal airflow. Blade and design choices are affected by system pressure loss, demister cleanliness and clogging risk.
