SCLO 3 HYCHLOR in-line amperometric free (residual) chlorine sensor, complete with a flow sensor and a built-in injection valve (for supplying a sensor cleaner). The sensor is designed to work with sodium hypochlorite (at10tion - inorganic chlorine only).
Supplied assembled, complete with: flow regulator, chlorine sensor, flow sensor, hose, copper electrode cleaning solution. Built-in sampling nipple and injection valve for feeding the measuring sensor.
The installation of 2 probes (pH and RedOx level, 12 mm in diameter), a place for installing a temperature sensor and a flow sensor is provided.
For proper operation of the SCLO 3 HYCHLOR chlorine sensor, a constant flow of 40-60 l /h is required.

Two electrodes immersed in a solution containing oxidants generate an electrical current proportional to the concentration of the oxidizing agents. The electrodes are made of copper (cathode) and platinum (anode). A negative voltage is formed at the cathode, and a positive voltage at the anode. These electrical signals must be processed with a suitable electronic unit. Generating a voltage, albeit small (a few mA per mg /L), leads to oxidation of the electrode surface (in particular the cathode), cleaned by continuous friction of the glass beads.
