Calcium Hydroxide Pump
Calcium hydroxide - is a fairly strong alkali, which is in demand in many industries. It is used in the chemical industry, in the water purification industry: water treatment plants, water treatment. For example, slaked lime is added to wastewater, rain and storm drains to neutralize the acid component and remove water to the normal hydrogen PH 7-8. The task of pumping lime "milk" is performed by different types of pumps:
- self-priming centrifugal pump
- with the help of screw pumps at local treatment facilities of poultry farms and livestock enterprises, acid neutralization tasks are solved. In this case, we recommend installing a flushing tank for the mechanical seal of the pump
- there is often a need to accurately dose lime milk. In this case, the peristaltic pump copes with the task perfectly. The pump has no seals and lime is in contact only with the hose. We select a hose resistant to the product and abrasive.
