CDL Ex Series Multistage Pumps
The main feature of this series of pumps is the presence of an explosion-proof electric motor. This option allows the use of pumping equipment at enterprises of oil, chemical, woodworking, food and other industries, where the categorization of the production facility does not allow the use of equipment in general industrial design.
By itself, the term explosion-proof equipment means special equipment, manufactured in such a way that its operation minimizes the risk of ignition of the environment. Therefore, explosion-proof and explosion-proof equipment is also called Ex equipment.
The use of explosion-proof pumping equipment is a mandatory requirement at a number of enterprises in the alcohol and chemical industry, since the safety of personnel and the environment depends on the reliability of these devices.
Pumps of this type are designed to increase pressure or pump liquids that are not aggressive to the materials of which the pump is made (except for water, it is possible to pump solutions of acids, caustic soda, alcohol and alcohol-containing liquids, washing liquids and many others)
The impeller, diffusers and all parts that come into contact with the liquid are made of stainless steel by stamping and casting, which means the flow path is smooth and prevents contamination. The shaft and coupling are made of high quality carbide and have a long lasting mechanical seal that does not leak.
The explosion protection level of the CDLF series pumps corresponds to the marking 1ExdIIBT4
