Coagulant pumps
Coagulation or the process of coagulation is the union of small particles into larger substances. This is the process of coagulation, thickening, enlargement. The coagulant is the chemical reagent for such processes. Flocculant is also a chemical reagent with similar properties, with a high adsorption ability (binding of flocculant molecules to particle molecules in a liquid). After the chemical process of using reagents in water, a reaction occurs - precipitation, flakes. Such reagents are very often used in technological processes for wastewater treatment. The solution of such problems is very important in matters of environmental conservation after human industrial activity. Coagulants and flocculants also play an important role in the preparation of drinking water.
Such technological processes using these reagents are used both at global facilities, for example, urban water utilities, and at treatment facilities of individual small industries, factories, plants, etc. Screw pumps, diaphragm pumps, peristaltic (hose) pumps are mainly used for pumping the above solutions.
Coagulant pumps are used for the following purposes:
- Wastewater treatment of industrial and agricultural enterprises
- Preparation of drinking water in public utilities
- Soil consolidation
- As a thickener of drilling and water-insulating solutions
- Mineral enrichment
- In pulp and paper, machine-building, oil and other industries.
