Pump for transferring liquefied carbon
We offer hermetic pumps (with a magnetic coupling) MPumps of Italian production for pumping liquefied carbon, with a capacity of up to 12 m3/hour, head up to 500 m.
Pump for transferring liquefied carbon differ in design and principle of operation. The most common designs are:
- Vortex (turbine) pumps with magnetic drive
- Vane (vane) pumps with magnetic drive
Both designs allow the pumping of reduced gases. Vortex (turbine) pumps with a magnetic coupling create a significantly higher head in comparison with centrifugal ones, but they have low efficiency, slide vane pumps are more productive.
The advantage of MPumps is the connection of the pumping part with the motor through a magnetic coupling.
MPumps can reduce maintenance costs and eliminate the need for mechanical seals.
